I met up with Brittany and Chris on a gorgeous night at the family camp on Diamond Lake. When Brittany and I were talking locations and she mentioned the camp I let her know that by the end of the session they would end up in a boat. We initially tried to use a paddle boat to get to a smaller island. Adding three adults and camera equipment in the boat wasn’t the best situation and we began taking on water. About midway to the location we decided to turn back around for the safety of people and equipment. By this time the sun quickly disappeared on us so the decision was made to get out the canoe. After some minor troubles of me possibly falling through a dock-type thing (boat ramp?) and trying to work out how to get the two of them in the canoe without tipping it we decided to just have them float out on the lake. The resulting image with the colourful sky was definitely worth it.

Thanks for the great night guys and the fun adventure.
