Danielle and Jamie – Sault Ste Marie Engagement Shoot
Danielle and Jamie are very special; so special that I’m shooting their wedding on Jes’ birthday. And for another piece of trivia Danielle is Jeannette’s sister, yes that cake girl Jeannette. But enough with the fun facts – Danielle and Jamie’s engagement shoot took place in downtown Sault Ste Marie and was filled with laughs. Which always makes for a great morning shooting. Once again Danielle and Jamie followed along like a lot of my couples do (which I love) and were up for the crazy ideas and situations I wanted to put them in – I think it worked out great.
Thanks for the awesome morning guys and see you in a few short weeks.

Mel and Tim – Engagement Shoot
Mel and Tim lucked out and being the only engagement shoot out of three that I was able to sneak in last weekend because of the rain. I shake my fist in your general direction rain! Mel and Tim brought their 8-month old puppy Barkley along for the shoot as well. I love when big dogs are still puppies and still don’t have full control over their long limbs – Barkley is basically a giant teddy bear right now.
Mel and Tim are a couple that I love and make what I do extremely fun for me and hopefully for them too. I think about midway through this shoot they had to be thinking “that’s it, he’s now officially completely lost it”. And even though they were thinking it and whispering it to each other while I was in ear shot (that’s right guys, I heard you!) they kept just going along with it. From me performing my best balancing act while having them lay on the ground below me to hoping into the back of an old beer delivery truck; Mel and Tim simply rocked this session.
Also, hi Gillian’s mom, thanks for compliment and saying hi as you walked by! She was also probably thinking “he’s completely lost it” as she walked by the balancing act setup.
Thanks for the great non-rainy Sunday evening guys!

This was completely Tim’s idea, good job Tim!

Elisa and David – Engagement Shoot
“You don’t win friends with salad.” is one of those great, long lasting Simpson’s quotes that has withstood the years because it’s true. But you do win friends with lunch and Elisa and David treated me to lunch after their shoot. HIGH FIVE!
I met Elisa for the first time about four years ago when we worked together at a location where both of us haven’t worked at for a long time now. Elisa and David just moved back to the Sault and with the move back as well as planning for their upcoming wedding things are a little bit hectic but they made time to get their engagement shoot in. We started the shoot off in the downtown area of Sault Ste. Marie and finished off at the Soo Canal.
Looking forward to the wedding in June guys!

Not going to lie. This last shot was a complete fail on my part. But I still liked it so I made it into Funker McFunkenstein – hope you dig it guys!
