Here’s Kaytee and Mike’s wedding from the start of September. They had the pleasure of being the first wedding shot after Reese was born, two full days after Reese was born. Good thing AJ was along as a second shooter to keep me somewhat mentally in check. AJ started the morning off with the guys and I met up with the girls and then we combined our bearded powers for the rest of the day at the ceremony. Kaytee and Mike had a gorgeous September day for their wedding, the morning started off overcast and rainy but cleared up come midday. If you remember from their engagement shoot Kaytee is a Packers fan and Mike (unfortunately) is a Steelers fan; this combination made its way to the wedding day as well with their cake by Jeannette’s Custom Cakes being split between a Packers and Steelers theme. Some little details were put on the cake as well such as the Lombardi Trophy on the Packers side, the bride wearing the “championship belt” and the final score of the Super Bowl on the back of the cake facing Kaytee and Mike during dinner.

Here’s Sarah and Tony’s wedding ending the month of August. If memory serves correct it was a gorgeous summer day here in the Sault. I met up with the girls during prep time at the Delta on the waterfront and from there to their ceremony at Precious Blood. After the ceremony we headed down to Bellevue Park and the arboretum for the formal bridal party shots, some craziness ensued and next thing I knew I had some groomsmen in a tree acting like tigers. You joke around saying you want to be a tiger, I’ll make you be a tiger. After the bridal party session was done Sarah and Tony came with me and we got some sweet shots of them at the arboretum, back at Precious Blood and on the Sault’s boardwalk. We ended off the night with a crazy reception at the Marconi.

Bree and John were married in the middle of July. I met up with the girls in the morning at the Delta where they were getting ready and having the final touch ups of makeup being done. We were able to see their ceremony site from the windows of their suite as they decided to have an outdoor ceremony at the Roberta Bondar Pavilion. We had a great day outside and the weather was perfect. For the formal shots we headed to the arboretum and finished off the night with a great party at the Marconi.

And what generally happens when I’m out shooting is I start doing the poses as it is easier for me to show them off then to describe them in words – because let’s admit it – most times my words don’t make any sense. For the most part no one grabs my camera and shoots me acting out the pose, but sometimes they do. You saw the matching shot with Bree actually doing this above:
