First off, Katie and Paul are awesome because they rescheduled their engagement shoot on very short notice when I was feeling horrible – so high fives for that! Moving on.

I’ve known Katie for a number of years now as we went to the same high school and acted in numerous plays together. I was the star, she brought me water (that’s how I remember it anyway). I met Paul while I was attending university at Algoma University. Katie and Paul met because they both currently work at Algoma University. I like to think I’m the little cupid that brought them together. The story in my head in how they met goes like this: Paul is in charge of fixing things at the university, one day he went to Katie’s office to fix something but was so enamored by her that he really didn’t fix the problem and broke other things so he would have to go back… frequently. This went on for months before Katie figured it all out and bingo bango here we are today with them getting married in July. I should write romance novels.

We rocked Katie and Paul’s engagement shoot out at the family ran course; Root River Golf Club using some of the old machinery and structures around the site and finished off with some shots outside of Algoma University. Thanks for the great evening guys and can’t wait to use the course again in July.
