Candace and Ryan had quite the adventurous day for their wedding but I’ll touch more on that in a bit. I met up with the girls as they were finishing getting their hair-did at The Parlour on King and then flowed with them to the house they were doing their finishing touches at. From there we headed out to Ansonia for their outdoor ceremony at Ryan’s parents’ house. Now this is where the fun begins. Their wedding day was the same day as the first Rainmageddon storm that hit the Sault this summer and we really didn’t know how bad it actually was until we started to make our way back to the Sault. Candace and Ryan’s ceremony had bits of thunder rumbling during it and right as they finished walking down the aisle as husband and wife it started to pour causing all the guests to flee to their cars and for cover. We hid out in the house for a bit and then just decided to go out in the rain because it didn’t show any signs of letting up. Now Candace and Ryan are pretty close friends of Jes and I; Jes and Reese were invited guests to the wedding and Reese ended up “assisting” me throughout the day as well. Because of our relationship I knew I could convince them to go outside and knew they’d be up for it – sometimes you luck out when Mother Nature wants to put a wrench in your plan. The rain was on and off for the rest of the afternoon until we decided to hit the highway to make it to the reception. About midway to town we hit the wall of rain that was affecting the Sault all day, little did we know about the power outages and flooding and everything else that was going on. We definitely lucked out with the location being in Ansonia for during the day and then the reception back in town at the Delta for the reception.
Thanks for being awesome guys!

I don’t usually make my husband look at random wedding photos, but the beauty of these blew me away! The setting, and the subjects were all just perfection. Good job!
