Heather and Clint were married in Sault Ste Marie at the start of October. As a change to my September weddings the first in October was a nice sunny fall day. We headed to Bellevue Park for some quick shots and then used the Bushplane Museum as the follow-up to add a little more funk to the regular outdoor stuff. From there Heather, Clint and myself used a little bit of city hall and then we were off to the reception at the Riuniti. As soon as the party kicked off there was no stopping them; unfortunately Heather waited until I left to start dancing on the bar.

Thanks for the fun day guys – give Chloe and Bailey some pets for me.

Here it finally is, the Awesome Booth from Rachel and Ryan’s crazy wedding. To say it was a hit would be an understatement, Bryan and I couldn’t get away from the thing and every time we tried packing up a new line would form so we just kept going. Bryan and I got involved as well. The first shot being a simple group picture with Rachel and Ryan; the second is a guy I played soccer with way back in the day, the quote on the board was our team’s catch phrase; and the last is two members from the Beards slo-pitch team that I run, this was during our never ending losing streak.

Rachel and Ryan were married in Bar River at Ryan’s uncle’s farm. I absolutely dig outdoor weddings and outdoor weddings at unique and cool locations just make them that much more awesome. Bryan was along as a second shooter for the day and was able to grab a lot of the details of the farm and the reception. It was a good morning as well, Bryan hung out with the guys at the farm and I spent it having breakfast with the girls – sometimes I get the hard job.

Now moving on to the “this will most likely not happen at your wedding” story of the day: in a weird set of circumstances I actually ended up driving Rachel and Ryan to their hotel after the reception. Bryan and I were tearing down the Awesome Booth and continued mingling with guests while doing it. After everything was loaded in the car it was a lot later than when we actually planned on leaving. We headed back into the reception to say bye to Rachel and Ryan and no one was left. So after moving some equipment around; Rachel, Ryan and Ryan’s box of pizza hopped in the car and off to their hotel. True story.
