So Tuscany… not that bad of a place for a photo shoot.
Introducing (officially) Michela and Aaron and their multiple day engagement shoot in Tuscany, Italy. This awesome couple flew us out and gave us the huge honour of being their photographer for their amazing wedding that took place at a villa in Bucine, Tuscany. Their engagement shoot spanned a couple of days because Aaron wasn’t quite in top physical shape – if anyone remembers or has heard what I went through while in Egypt a similar situation hit Aaron. We actually met Aaron for the first time while in the car heading to San Gimignano for the big engagement shoot/family shoot/gelato eating extravaganza as it was his first time out of bed since we arrived. We also found out that the night before we arrived his friends decided to pull him out of bed and toss him into the pool – if they would have only waited a day…
The shoot locations include San Gimignano, a pedestrian only walled medieval town in the Siena region of Tuscany; and Borgo Iesolana, our villa in Bucine, Tuscany. In the single shots of Michela below you’ll notice that there is not a lot of people around, it actually started to pour right when we were moving into those shots and everyone in the town scattered; all tourists, all locals, the streets became empty. Us acting as true northerners gutted it out for some sweet shots.
Thanks for the amazing days leading up to the wedding and inviting us in and making us feel extremely welcomed. There’s a lot more to come!
