Marianne and Mark – Sault Ste Marie Engagement

Marianne and Mark made their way up to the Sault just before Christmas to sneak in their engagement shoot. Marianne is “studying” in the Caribbean and wasn’t quite ready for the snow and cold we had here but survived quite well. She says the one thing she misses while away are the true Canadian icons such as our winter, Tim Hortons and my beard.

For their shoot we headed up to the now closed off for cross country skiing/snowshoeing Hiawatha Highlands. We stayed off the trails and just used the simple entrances for some quick snow filled shots. Their pup Shiraz came along for the journey as well. From there we finished off the shoot at Tim Horton’s where Mark had no clue what a Long John was… really? really?
