Dawn and Dan – Sault Engagement

As generally becomes the situation I’ve been a little delayed at getting some full shoots up – here’s Dawn and Dan’s engagement shoot from the start of May. I met up with Dawn and Dan at Dawn’s parents’ place on Sunnyside Beach. Dawn, Dan, Finnegan, Riggs and I roamed the trails and bush around the area. Dawn talked very highly of the area promising me a sweat pond area and awesome bridge we could shoot with. As we continued along the trails I asked her where the pond and bridge were and she said we already passed them, then we walked back to the spot. The “pond” was just a big dirty water mud hole type area (the dogs loved it!) and the “bridge” was about 4 old broken boards making their way across the “pond”. Sometimes things get visualized in my head like in the movies and then sometimes reality sneaks up and smacks me in the face. We did have a good laugh about the spot though.
