This is Candace and Ryan’s engagement shoot from the end of September. One of the last nice days before October showed up and became a blahtastic month. Candace and Ryan both play for the Beards slo-pitch team and Jes and I have known them for awhile, they’re the type of friends who bring their truck and help you move. For their session we went out to Ryan’s parents’ place in Ansonia; the same location I did Ryan’s sister’s engagement session two years ago so we “recreated” some of those shots but also went in a completely different direction for the rest of the shoot. During our adventure we all ended up injured at one point or another; Ryan thought it would be a good idea for them to hop up into a tree and be all cuddly there, seemed good until the tree let go and Can and Ryan fell to the ground. Hilarious. I wasn’t safe either though with almost falling into the water and then being attacked by an apple try while I was attempting to take the “skull and gun” shot below.
