It has been a custom of mine to write about Domino’s birthday on any site I have running at the time. Now that this is my main website Domino gets to be featured here. Today is Domino’s fourth birthday. He is the oldest of our dogs, the basset hound I hand picked and our barking, howling, drooling furbaby of happiness.

I wanted a basset hound for the longest time and Jes knew this. She was browsing one of our local online sites and came across a posting for 4 basset hound puppies. She suggested we just go and look at them so that I could actually see a hound puppy as the thought of owning one at that time wasn’t in our minds. After visiting with the pups for a bit my mind was made up and we had to get one. The next day we were giving our deposit and picking out our new basset hound puppy.

I still can’t believe now that Domino is four. It doesn’t seem like he has been around that long yet although he has been a large part of our lives. At other times he acts like he’s an old grumpy dog in his mid-teens when the other two start getting playful and all that Domino wants to do is lay on the couch.

We’re hoping to get him out to the park tonight to go for a swim but if we can’t get him there tonight we’ll try sometime in the next few days. Maybe he’ll get a special treat tonight as well – anything edible is what he likes.

Here is the last of the current batch of sample albums – the wedding album! This album is a flush mount album which means the pictures are part of the page – everything is one. The album also has a small cut down the middle so instead of the pages folding over in like in a traditional book all of the pages lay flat no matter where you are in the album.

These albums are perfect for displaying the key photos from your wedding day. Not all of your wedding photos will appear in an album like this but enough to give the complete story of the day – basically all of the top shots from each section of the day. The albums come in many different cover options and colours and include many other add-ons as well.

The album below features shots from my trip to Egypt back in early October – not really a traditional way to show off how your wedding book would look but it had a lot of variety in shots etc. The album is 9×12 wrapped in a soft leather called Bomber Jacket with nice thick pages. Once again you have to see and feel the album in person to get its full affect.

So you had an engagement shoot done but you are not really sure what to do with the photos from it. You are also thinking on what to do to keep track of all the guests that have come to your wedding. You could go with one of those traditional guest books with pages and pages of lines where people can sign their name on. But being realistic you’ll most likely look at it once and throw it into a closet somewhere because they just don’t look that good. Now what if you could smack your guests upside their face with a book of awesome right at the door that shows off multiple shots from your engagement and allows them to sign it?

The sample albums have arrived and they’ve gone through their own mini photo shoot in my front yard. My neighbours already think I’m crazy I’m sure so me telling albums to “work it” is not anything strange to them. I think these albums are simply awesome and that pictures alone do not do them justice – you must see these albums and touch them. Bring a napkin or something to wipe up your drool though. Because each album stands out on its own I’ll be putting each one up separately – I can’t have you going super crazy all at once we need to take this slow.

The first album I’m debuting is what I’m calling the Brag Book. I’m calling it this simply because we all know you brag about your shots to your family, friends, coworkers and random people on the street so why not have an awesome album to show off some of your favourite shots. These albums are customizable and can come from a size of 5×5 all the way up to 12×12/8×12/11×14. From there you can choose cover options from fabrics, fake leathers and real leathers in some crazy different colours.

Why a 5×5 album? Why not? For the moms out there you can slip this into your purse and carry it around with you. When you want to show off your family photos you have a simple yet funky album that will make your shots stand out even more. These albums can be used in any number of ways from the one above to parent albums after your wedding – pick out some of your favourite shots and give them to your parents as a gift.

If you have been following the site for a bit you may have already seen the hot packaging that your DVD comes in but if you are new here is the latest batch. The DVDs featured here are from Jess and Mike’s engagement shoot and Margaret and John’s engagement shoot. I did a quick shoot in my backyard before bringing the disc over to Jess – Margaret hasn’t seen her disc yet so Margaret if you are reading this close your eyes now.
