Okay you didn’t win a chicken dinner but just possibly the second best thing – a photo shoot with me. And yes the line in the subject is old and overused but seeing as I just came back from Vegas I couldn’t help but to drop some cheese onto the site.

After a week long process of answering a very simple question all correct entries were put into an ordered list based on when they commented. I was in a nice mood so I even included the entries who referred to the Pillsbury Doughboy as the Phillsbury Doughboy (more than 1 and less than 4) and even allowed the entry in who referred to my basset hounds as beagles. From there I sent Jes to the random number generator and she entered the range of 1 to 42 (number of eligible entries) and came out with our winner.

The winner of the free shoot is lucky #10 – Joseph G. I have sent an email off to Joe to confirm his winning of the prize. Thank you to all who entered. The response was unbelievable.

I’m hoping to have some shots up of Jes and my eshoot that we did in Vegas. It was me shooting us and was a bit more difficult then I had imagined.

The last couple of nights I’ve been shooting Jes and myself for a top secret project that I cannot name or tell you about. The fact that I’ve said this much may have already put my life in danger. Seriously. But I’m a risk taker so below is a teaser (outtakes) for the project. But shh, don’t tell anyone.

Now if all the ladies will stop staring at my fabulous pectorials and the guys can stop drooling over my absolutely awesome beard we can continue on.

Jes and I getting ready to head out on our big Vegas vacation which starts tomorrow. It’s not really big and not really a vacation but a quick get away for us. While there I’ll be shooting our own engagement pictures – how fun is that going to be? Anyway, it is going to be great to get away from the deep chill happening here and get to sunny Las Vegas for a few days. I will be throwing the shots up on to the site when they are ready.

First off I’d like to thank everyone who has been checking out the site, who has subscribed to updates through the RSS feed and who may have subscribed through the new email alert (I’m not sure how good this works yet). I went through a tough time the past couple of weeks with the server the site was hosted on going down, coming back and then moving everything over to a new company. Everything is back and operational now and ready for updates and to lead off we’re starting with a pretty simple contest.

And now to the part you’ve been waiting for. Up for grabs is a lifestyle or family shoot in Sault Ste. Marie or close surrounding area (if you want me somewhere else you will have to pay for travel). If you are one of my current brides you can use this shoot as an add on to your wedding as an after shoot. The only requirement from you for the shoot is that you will be willing to have a fun time and up for any of the crazy ideas I throw at you.

To be eligible to win all you have to do is post in the comment section below the answer to the following question: What two names does the character pictured in the cake above go by?

I’m leaving this contest open until next Monday (March 9) at 12:00 PM EST – so you have that long to look long and hard for the answer (you might even be able to cheat off of someone else in the comments). From there all correct entries will be put into a drawing to receive the shoot so do not worry if you are not the first one to respond – to increase your chances tell your significant other, your friends, your family or any other person you want to do the shoot with about the contest and have them enter. I will then either use a random number generator to select the entry or pull a name out of a hat – I haven’t figured this part out yet. If only one entry comes in it will make the choice easier.
